We didn't all travel together as we weren't all leaving at the same time or from the same place, but a few met up in North Battleford the day before and travelled together from there. They were as pictured below - Gail and Ed, Marlene T, Rilla, Bob, Gus, Thelma, and Barb:
The rally started off with rally registration, signing up for tours and events, setting up raffle table, etc. Here are Bob and Roger registering:
The opening ceremonies and memorial service started about 6:30. Maria's brother Ron is an RCMP officer and led the procession - here he is with Vince:

The flag bearers below, from left, are Jim (Provincial Wagonmaster), Roger (Assistant Director), and Dwayne (Assistant Director). Emcee is Doug (Past Director) and seated are Vince and Maria (Directors), Christine (Chief Administrative Officer for St Walburg), and Nancy (Mayor of St Walburg):

After the opening ceremonies we had an ice cream social - served by the Sunshine Sams:
A jam session was scheduled for after the ice cream social, but no one actually showed up to jam except for Gus. It was not well advertized:
Day two - Sunshine Sams were responsible for cookies at morning coffee. Both Marlenes and Gail are busy setting them out (and sampling!)
They were delicious!
The Good Sams stores were open in the morning - not much left but badges - they are giving them away mostly. Golf was this morning as well, but no pictures. In the afternoon there were socials, both men and women. Here is our crew at the women's - Marlene C, Rilla, Nancy, Joanne, Barb, Gail, and Marlene T sitting:
There are no pictures of the men's social, which was a tour of a church. Bean Bag Toss was late in the afternoon:
Gus and Barb were playing and had to miss our group going out for supper at the Farmhouse Inn. Here are the rest of us, going around the table from the left - Ed, Lorne, Bob, Harv, Roger, Nancy, Marlene T, Joanne, Gail, and Rilla. Marlene C took the picture:
After supper was card bingo, but I have no pictures of that.
Day three we did a tour of the Imhoff Museum and Studio in the morning. The link is to a biography of Count Berthold Von Imhoff and is worth looking at.
The museum is kind of out of the way and Maria had given us directions, indicating that if we were on the correct road it would look like a lover's lane - she was right!

From there we went to Frenchman Butte Heritage Centre. We started our tour with a stop at the Log Cabin Tea House for lunch:
Then on to the museum, which is housed in a number of different buildings:

Later in the afternoon Rilla and Gail ran the cribbage tournament:
After that we had happy hour in the rink:
And then Provincial provided a hamburger and hot dog BBQ:
Followed by a dance - the band is PST Band (I cannot for the life of me remember what it stands for, and its not on the internet!) They are very good:
Day four provincial provided a pancake breakfast:
And then Marlene and Roger ran the pet parade - Harv and Nancy helped judge:
Rilla brought Freddie:
And I'm not sure who won now, but Marlene had done up nice certificates which were very well received:
Some local people set up a farmers market for us that ran until noon:
Harv and Nancy ran the Bean Bag Baseball tournament in the afternoon:
The reception started at 5pm, followed by the banquet:
The banquet was excellent:
After the banquet pins were handed out to the bean bag baseball winners. Here is the first place team:

Day five and everyone was ready to head home. At nine there was an Interfaith Service:
And at 9:30 there was a closing ceremony:
And finally everything was torn down and put away for next year:
And that was it - we all headed home.
